What follows is the progress that has been mad eon structures and supports. The supports in NL2 will be a lot more advanced than the ones found in NL1. A lot more options will be available and it will be much easier to create structures with them. There’s a new support node called the Beam Node. These work like free nodes but remain attached to the beam. There’s an additional beam node that when rendered it will appear as flange. This makes adding flanges very easy and you can drag it along the support to place the flange where you desire.
Another new feature is the ability to copy/paste/rotate custom designed supports. Work is in progress for special track connectors that work very similar to the NL1 rail nodes. There’s a lot of flexibility since the connectors and beams can be edited independently of each other. What follows is a couple of screenshots of the supports demonstration some of the new features such as the new connectors, flanges and beam nodes.
We hope you enjoy this NoLimits Coaster 2 update. Keep tuned for more sneak peeks!
